Italian fest to screen Iran short

Iranian short film ‘Chocolate’ has been set to be screened at the 3rd edition of Cefalu Film Festival in Italy.

Directed by Mehdi Heidari, ‘Chocolate’ is to be screened at the Italian film event.

“A small boy in a village wants to get chocolate from an old woman every day.  To get to his goal he deceives the old woman by crying,” a short synopsis of the flick read.

The "Cefalù Film Festival Pino Scicolone" is a meeting point for the presentation and promotion of films and videos of every nationality, genre and duration that address the themes of friendship, the city, peace and the future. 

Cefalu festival awards the best film, selected from among 100 short movies, one thousand Euros. There are also the special jury prize, the best director award, the best actress and best actor awards, best foreign short film, and best animated short film, as well as the best script and best music.

 The 3rd edition of Cefalu Film Festival will be held on May 1, 2018, in Cefalu, Italy.
